The egg, upon in-vitro fertilization, is kept under observation as the oocyte undergoes varied stages of cell division & development. Upon reaching the blastocyst or the cleavage stage, the embryo is then transferred to the uterus or frozen for later use. Implantation is done after the embryo reaches the blastocyst phase improves the chances of delivering a healthy baby.
Many times, after ovarian stimulation, the inner lining of the uterus doesn’t support the implantation of the embryo. Then, the implantation is done with the help of an external assistance to facilitate the hatching.
We also facilitate the arrangement of oocyte donation to couples who consist of an infertile female and a fertile male. If both the partners are infertile, then they can adopt an embryo that has been created by a different couple. The infertile couple can choose to carry an embryo that will be implanted in the receiver’s uterus which will be followed by a normal pregnancy term.
This method is ideal for couples who suffer from low sperm count or weak sperm mobility. A single sperm is extracted and injected directly into the oocyte and upon fertilization, the matured embryo is implanted in the womb thereafter.
